At BSA we offer the National Curriculum of England to boys and girls from Foundation Stage to Year 12 (3+ to 17 years). Pupils sit end of Key Stage National Curriculum Tasks and Tests (SATs) and the school offers a wide range of IGCSE/GCSE subjects in Years 10 and 11. We can also offer AS and A level courses when requested.
The results of standardized tests and external examinations give a general indication of success. They do not, however, provide a full picture of a child’s achievement – social, physical, aesthetic, as well as academic – and the part the school plays in fostering these.
Class sizes are small, up to a maximum of 24 pupils per class. Many families have children on both sites or in different Key Stages. The British School prides itself on the smooth transition of children cross phase, providing continuity of education.
