The British School of Alexandria follows the National Curriculum guidelines for England. The programmes of study set out what students should be taught, and the attainment target sets out the expected standard of student performance.
The attainment target for each subject sets out the knowledge, skills and understanding that students of different abilities and maturities are expected to have reached by the end of each of the Key Stages. The attainment target consists of levels, of increasing difficulty, and describes the types and range of performance that students working at that level should characteristically demonstrate. |
