Our Honoured Graduates

From BSA to the World

From FS1 through Year 11, he studied at The British School, Alexandria, completing IGCSEs in 2022. He later earned the International Baccalaureate (IB) at Salem International College in Germany. Younes now pursues a B.Sc. in International Business at the Maastricht School of Business and Economics in the Netherlands, building on 13 years at BSA (2009–2022).
Younes Riad

Class of 2022

Studied at The British School, Alexandria from 2014 to 2020, where dedicated teachers shaped his growth. He now studies Medicine at New Giza University (NGU), building on the foundation developed at BSA. The discipline, time management, and confidence gained there enable him to balance medical studies with professional-level basketball and an active social life.
Yahia Shaaban

Class of 2021

Graduated from The British School, Alexandria in 2019, preparing for further study in the United Kingdom. She studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Sussex, where the experience fostered independence and broadened her perspective. Fatima now works as a Mechanical Engineer in Research and Development at the Egyptian Italian Company for Plastics.
Yassin Samaha

Class of 2019

Attended The British School, Alexandria from Year 5 through IGCSEs, where a supportive community shaped her love of learning. She studied Politics and International Development at the University of Leeds and later taught English in Egypt for two years. After completing Education studies at the University of Southampton, she returned to BSA as a Year 4 teacher.
Anastasia Pool

Class of 2018

Studied at The British School, Alexandria, where a supportive community and dedicated teachers helped build discipline and curiosity. Encouraged to think critically across subjects, a strong interest in science led her to pursue medicine. Nadia is now studying Medicine at King’s College London, building on the skills and values developed during her time at BSA.
Nadia Bitar

Class of 2019

Graduated from The British School, Alexandria in 2017 before studying Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Sussex. She later completed a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence and Adaptive Systems at the same university. Zahwa now works remotely as a Software Engineer at Brandwatch, continuing her career in technology.
